    Hi there,
Does anyone know if there are any bus operators that run a service from Manorhamiliton to Sligo that would get you in for work in the morning (about 9am). I rang Bus Eireann but their earliest one is 10.30am approx.:(. Taxis are not a viable option due to the expense involved . Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!

The Donegal Democrat reported (in May 2009):
Rural Lift: Rural Lift Transport Manager Clare O'Shea stated, when she addressed the recent North Leitrim Community Development Network AGM, it was unlikely that Rural Lift would be providing any additional transport services in the north Leitrim area in the near future.
She also said it would be necessary to conduct a survey to establish the viability of an early morning bus service from Manorhamilton to Sligo before Rural Lift would consider providing such a service.

So I wouln't count on it.

I might be worth trying car pooling/car sharing. A quick search on the web gives a possible site, swiftcommute.ie. I haven't checked it out myself, but it may be a starting point.

The first Bus Eireann bus leaves Sligo Bus Station at 7.30am and it gets you into Manorhamilton at 8.04.
I don't know if that's too early but the next bus wont get you into Manorhamilton until 9.49

I think the OP wants to go from Manorhamilton to Sligo?
