    Hi Folks.

    I want to set up a blog and upload pictures etc. I have never done this. Is there a free blog site so to speak and how do I get more information of how to do it,

    Hey, the two most popular free blog sites are Blogger (run by Google) and WordPress. If you already have a Google account (gmail or something) I would recommend trying that first. Just go to Blogger.com, login and you will see a button to "Create a blog".

    It's really that simple. You'll end up with a domain name that looks like: yourname.blogspot.com. Where "yourname" equals whatever you want. You can do everything through a simple GUI (user interface). If you can send email, you can post a blog.

    Your other option is WordPress.com. It's very similar to Blogger. I use it for my personal blog below. (However, I have my own hosting and domain.) Just fill in the sign up info and you're done. Again, your address would be: yourname.wordpress.com.

    Don't worry about design at first. Tinker. Play around with a few options, but focus on creating new pages and uploading your content and photos. Once you've chosen one of them (Blogger or WordPress) there are TONS of resources available out there. And you'll find them - in fact, they'll probably find you.
