Is it possible to capture live internet stream or record a live stream as to enable me to pause the stream take a picture and export the picture to another program to view it?

I believe you can do it with VLC. Open the stream, and then re-stream it out to a file. Its pretty easy to figure out once ya get in there. Will make more sense than me explaining it here.
