I'm just wondering if anyone here has this particular Mp5. I always liked the look of an MP5, but this one more than any other I've seen. I've watched a good few video reviews, read some things on it (admittedly not a whole lot), but I'd prefer to know if anyone here has one, what problems (if any) they've had, and their thoughts on it, as well as comparing it to others.

Asking for a lot, but hey...more I ask, more I learn:) Cheers!

I have the same gun only with the regular retractable stock. its a really good performer (as expected with G&G gear these days) the battery is a bit of a pain to get in at first but once ya figure out the system is fine. the bolt is really heavy and feels a lot more realistic than most airsoft ones ive seen out there. it comes with a 200rd hicap but mine wasnt great, it seemed to have a problem with it from day one but i never use em so i didnt bother fixing it., I'd say it was a case of the circlip coming off the clutch as happens with a few of the other branded MP5 mags. If yours has the same front end mine did, it'll come with some lovely rails, very nicely made (i removed my front end in favour of a classic style for an SAS loadout)., the receiver of the gun itself is made from magnesium alloy and its finished well, lower is nylon fibre, no flexing etc etc.

stripping it is handy enough as you just have to remove the stock by its 2 pins and the front receiver pin to allow the entire lower receiver to slide off the upper. there's a mini tamiya connector running from the upper receiver into the gearbox that you have to unplug before taking it down.
The hopup is easy to access by its slider through the ejection port when you cock the gun, i tightened the slider on mine after i found it was moving every so slightly from the vibration of the gun when firing so i found myself dialing in a little more hopup every now and then. other than that really there's not a lot i could say about it, i love it, its the most realistic MP5 ive seen yet.:)

PS, it comes with a lovely top rail that uses allen keys and hinged feet to secure it to the upper rail, a lot gucci'ier than the others ive used. :)
