Hi, I was just wondering what kind of insurance is necessary to become a childminder?

By the summer I will have finished one year of teacher training and am looking for a summer job involving children. Childminding is one I thought of but it may not be feasible. If anyone else has any other ideas please let me know.

Just something to bear in mind if it's only for the summer months then it works out expensive and as there are a lot of fulltime childminders with vacancies it may be difficult for you to fill spaces.

Also to access the Childminding Ireland childminder's group insurance you've to become a member of Childminding Ireland which involves a fee plus you need a medical from your gp, again more money and at the end of that not get anyone to mind.
