Quick question on semi private accom. If you go semi private for maternity, and it turns out that you dont get the semi private ward, do they still charge you the semi private accom fee's ? My theory is if I end up in the normal ward, nothing i can do about it, but if I got charged for semi private room, id be fairly…

It is your health insurer that they will charge but no if you do not get it you do not pay it.
