Just spotted this on HUKD. This, imo, is great value as it also charges the ipod when its docked. Bought a similar one last year and while the sound isn't the best, its adequate for a kitchen or bedroom.

Good spot. I bought one of these as a BA when it was €13-ish from The Hut...

It won't blow the ears off you, but it's grand for a bedside table/study desk.

Are you sure sendit deliver electronics for free to ROI?

Also does this charge and work with ipod touch 3rd gen and does it come with mains adapter?

They deliver for free but usually are the most expensive of the hut group to make up for it. They deliver small electronics as far as I know, got a hdmi cable from zavvi(of the hut group) last week. Doesn't say anything about them not delivering on the page. I think it does come with the mains adapter, I bought a slightly different model before christmas and it did, anyway.
A quick google told me that no, its not compatible with the ipod touch.

Doesn't charge the ipod nano that I tried there:( Surprised as there was no problems with the other intempo dock that I have, still for €5.50 it was worth the punt.

I saw that soldering iron and screwdriver are required, so I'll leave it! Thanks anyway:)

Picked mine up from the post office today - it charges my first gen iPhone but the sound doesn't work
The speakers work when I plug something else into the audio jack so it must not be compatible with the phone.
Ah well, might make a pressie for someone else

I have a 1st Gen ipod touch which by the sounds of it should work. If anyone isn't happy with theirs and wants to sell one on (at a reasoned price of course). I'd be happy to take off your hands. If you're in Cork all the better (hint Lindtee unless you actually think it's not working as opposed to it being a compatability problem.).
