atm for me maybe:

Straight Edge Society vs ?? (Tag titles)

I think that it will be Batista w Vince vrs HBK w Bret, reasons why i think this is: was it not Batista that eliminated HBK in the rumble, plus the fact there is the history between Vince, Bret and HBK from 12 years ago, also was it not Shawn that said only good things will come from bringing Bret back. For me its a lock leaving Cena to face off against Taker, Would any of u agree with my logic :rolleyes:

tbh i agree i just cant wrap my head around HBK w/Bret but it could def happen and would also allow Cena vs Taker which would be huge.

i don't think they should give the 'ending of the streak' to someone like HBK, as he doesn't need it, but i could live with it in this sort of scenario.

If that Michaels scenario does some to fruition, and the Bret match is in the Main Event, I can see Mania ending with the two embracing in the ring a la Guerrero/Benoit. Now thats a heartwarming image for the ages and proper closure for everyone for once and for all.

Ideally what I'd like is Edge going for the WWE title while crazy HBK plans to win the WHC elimination chamber so Taker HAS to use his rematch clause which HBK won't let him do till WM. But Shawn loses (probably before Taker got out of his 'pod').

Come WM HBK enters himself into MitB. Wins but is 'injured' and taken off the show. Middle of the show Taker defends his WHC against whoever. End of the show Edge faces the WWE champion (... erm... Kofi?). After that HBK walks down with the briefcase grabs the mic and orders Undertaker to the ring because he's not waiting until WM27 to cash in.

Taker v cena

This appeals to me somuch more than HBK/Taker II. The crowd would be electric and Cena ending the streak would go down as one of the most memorable and debated moments in WWE history. Wrestling needs its iconic moments and none more so than Cena ending the streak.

HBK v Hunter

Hunter needs a good Mania match as his last few performances especially last years disasterpiece stunk to the high heavens, best go back to the tried and trusted in HBK. Sheamus is decent but noway he can get as good as match out of Hunter than HBK can.

Edge v Punk

Jericho v Edge would be good but this would be more interesting. You could make it a hair match just to keep Vince happy.

Ted v Orton

Well its looking likely isn't it?

Batista v John Morrison

Batista needs something to and Jo Mo needs someone creditable to put him over. They had a very entertaining match a few years ago on SD so it would be good.

MITB

Jericho v Sheamus v Bourne v Drew v Rey v Kane vs MVP vs Miz

In an ideal world this would be the last one ever as I have got bored with the concept and I would want Jericho and Rey in it to add some star value.

Christian v Rey

The storyline or reason for this match would not matter, the match itself would be wonderful.

Yeah. I doubt HBK or Taker will be in title matches. I think they're both taking time off after Mania. Taker probably won't lose the streak, and HBK probably won't want to lose 2 Wrestlemanias in a row

i really hope they dont put cena with bret hart at mania, just leave it as vince v bret, i would say even at 52 and after a stroke, bret still has more ability then cena,If you disagree look at brets punches to vince on monday night and then look at cena's in any match and decide who's offence looks more realistic, and look at brets selling of vinces kick on raw a month ago and look at cena's selling of moves in his matches, non existent.

i say let them have a street fight even for 10mins and it will end it with vince in the sharpshooter, and let cena and batista have their own match, i know what match would be more entertaining

Hard one to call on the streak. I do think that a rematch with HBK is unlikely, I mean it would be a bit much to expect HBK to lose twice in a row. He won't end the streak that's for sure. It seems Cena is also out of the question too so who is left? Maybe Sheamus?

I have not got much more to add to the rest, good predictions guys! So for the top 5 matches I think...

HBK v Undertaker (HBK to cost Taker the title at EC)
Jericho v Edge for WHC (Jericho benefiting from HBKs superkick on Taker)
Cena w Bret v Batista with Vince (Though I would love Vince to have CM Punk with him)
HHH v Seamus (Midcard WWE title match...I feel that HHH was being so kind to Sheamus for a reason in interviews last year)
Christian to win MITB having served his time in ECW, thus setting up Christian/Edge WWE title match

However....one other possibility is for HHH to screw HBK out his Undertaker rematch at EC and for them to meet at Mania. Then maybe tie this in with Vince and Bret. HHH with Vince in his corner, HBK with Bret in his. HHH could come out in support of his father-in-law and claim HBK has gone soft. HHH has been very cool towards the HBK/Bret reconciliation on TV, especially on the night of Bret's return. Then as mentioned above, Mania could end with the image of HBK and Bret hugging, putting it all firmly in the past. Then as they hug...BONG!!! OK maybe not that last part but how awesome would it be to have an unadvertised HBK/Taker match

not at all really.

he could, but it depends on what direction they want to go with certain characters and whether they want to put the title on Sheamus again.

just because he gets a short run with the title, doesn't mean he'll get it again.

Agreed. They could really make a great angle out of it too. Have the person get really mad over missing his chance, or someone cost him his chance and start a good fued with them, and it'd freshen up the MITB too

So a lot of people seem to think it will be Bret with Cena v Vince with Big Dave.

I have to admit, when I watched Raw the other night, the fighting between Bret, Vince and Batista looked bad. I don't know if the crowd were part of the issue, or he timed it wrong, but when Bret went to hit Vince the first time, the crowd didn't react.

I thought the fighting looked bad but when I re-watched it, it didn't seem that bad after all. Bret's punches looked good and fast. I think the problem was that Vince fell to his knees and had the coat pulled half way over his head. I can't see anyone being able to beat someone up properly in that scenario.

By the same token, Batista's punches looked much worse when he went after Bret. Again, probably not helped by the jacket being over his head and stuff.

I suppose my big concern is whether they could have a full match and whether Bret's health is 100%. I mean could he take a bump? What if he hit his head again?

One thing for sure, he could definitely lock on the sharpshooter with no risk
