Just wondering if anyone has come across anywhere that isn't in the USA selling arcade PSUS at a reasonable cost?

Would an ATX not do no?

The one that's currently in my cab I got from someone here. I think it may have been Mictomagic but could be wrong.

There are a few arcade sellers in France on ebay that might throw up some results. You get the odd one on ebay.co.uk.

Most of them do seem to be in America though annoyingly enough. If you're willing to buy one from there, I think it was Jammaboards.com that have good ones..with a nice little LCD too so you can see the exact voltage as you adjust it.

I could use an atx supply but they are a bit on the large side. I think I remember you getting a small PSU on ebay?

I got a connection that lets you use an external laptop power supply yeah. I still haven't actually gotten around to buying a laptop psu for it though! If I remember correctly it was about 17 euro in total from a guy in China. I'll see if I can get you the auction link.

    Here it is -

Do you not need -5v for jamma?
That doesn't seem to be on that converter

Interesting, I didn't actually notice that.

Mine is mainly for use with a PGM mobo. Which runs fine on +5v.

Might be an issue though if I try to use some -5v only PCBs.

Will have to look into this just to be safe!

You can get a thing called a PicoPSU which is an ATX complent PSU thats tiny, can find them cheap on EBay and the run off a standard wall wart / adapter type thingy, generally low power though, 100-200w for fanless... you can get other ATX compatable PSU's if you look for ones designed to work in mini-itx systems if you need some more wattage...
