    Morning Gang,

    I’m looking at buying an old classic car (1972 Land Rover) that’s been off the road for a number of years.
    The current owner has not got the logbook, nor is the car currently in his name.
    I questioned this and was told that a replacement could be obtained from the tax office for 12 euro.
    Now the problem is;

    He dosn't know the name and address of the registered owner, so filling out the RF form will be a problem
    To claim a replacement logbook, what form is needed and again I don't know the registered owner details.

    Is it really worth the hassle and it looks like it'll cost more than 12 euro

    What do ya all think?

    Landy

    Yeah been speaking to another forumer on this a few minutes ago ( thanks Gil) It can be resolved, but I think I'll skip it as it's not worth the expense at present. I'll invest the money into my current rebuild and not another project just yet.

    thanks guys for the replies.
