As per the SSAi website (http://www.ssai.ie/NSAI.htm)
The National Silhouette Association is the National Governing Body for:
    Silhouette Shooting in Ireland

However the NSAI site looks like it is undergoing a bit of work.

I'm sure others will be along to send you in the right direction.

    Hi,

The NSAI national Silhouette Associaiton of Ireland have a new website up and running with contact details there also. Take a look.

As for shooting clubs - you should call or visit clubs and see if they shoot silhouettes there or are interested in taking it up.

BRC Shooting Club in Bohernabreena, Dublin are active in silhouette shooting and open for membership.

Most people start out on the CZ but make sure its not a magnum calibre as smallbore silhouettes are only shot with a .22 rifle with standard or subsonic ammunition (not hollow points as they damage the expensive targets).

If you can afford it go for an anschutz or sako in .22LR and know also there are gun weight categories in competitive silhouette shooting. Rules for both NRA and IMSSU governing bodies can be downloaded from NSAI website http://sites.google.com/site/irishsilhouetteshooter/.

so get yourself some reliable kit and get knocking those targets down...:)

Your best bet is to speak With Alan Cass the secretary of BRC Shooting Club. You can get him by emailing the club brcshootingclub@gmail.com
