Eagle eyes and grip hands whose fingers would break off, leaving you with two stumps. Still great though.

I had Bullet Man as well, but he was a bit crap really.

I never had them because they were considered dolls in the family.

Does anyone remember the Action Man t-shirt ?

I've been searching the web for one of these to no avail.

It was mainly green and had a picture of action man and all his gear...an absolute Retro classic to have now....!!! Jaysus

    any help please PM me...:)

I feel really old now. I remember when the gripping hands version came in. Prior to that it had fixed hands with a slightly cocked index finger to make it look like he could actually shoot. The original one didn't have felt hair either, it was just painted plastic.

Do you remember every time you would buy an Action Man product, such as a rifle or uniform or jeep, there would be stars that you could off the box and when you'd collected enough stars, you'd send them off and you'd get a new naked Action Man in the post 4 weeks later? A rifle might have had one star but I remember getting a helicopter and I think it had something like 5-6 stars.

Jaysus yeah I forgot about the stars, nothing like the anticipation of waiting for a free action man.

ah yeah the old action men were pretty indestructable, unless a dog chewed the foot off or something

the eagle eyes one, where you could move his eye with a switch on the back of his head

My brother had Eagle Eyes and also another Action Man that spoke.
The phrases that I remember him saying were:

    "Enemy tanks approaching."
    "Give me some cover."

Can't remember the rest. Anybody care to add?

He also had an Action Man jeep, a small tank and a big tank with caterpillar tracks.

Anyone else remember the record? 7" vinyl.

All I can seem to remember now is; " Action Man is here ..... (Something about " The air ... ") Tough and fearless, he's a fighter. No assignment ever bothers him. " So on and so forth.

Other side ~ or, it may have just been a one sided record? Anyway; It had general battle sounds. I remember it ended with " Mopping Up ". Much sound of heavy, crunchy boot on gravel. Odd gun shot.

    Later 60's ?
