ACCA F8 - Which College?

    Hi all,

    just looking for opinions on which college/lecturers are the best in Dublin.

    Some of my options are:
    -Dave O'Donoghue (Independent)
    -Umesh Rama (GCD)
    -Cormac Kavanagh (DBS)
    -Shaun Browne (BPP)

    I'm not really familiar with these colleges so any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Cant comment on any of the other colleges but I did F8 with Shaun Brown in BPP. I did the course at home and just went to the revision weekend. He definitely swung the pass for me. He has devised easy ways to remember key points and made the most boring subject on earth bearable!

    I did F8 with Umesh and found him to be one of the best lecturers I have ever had. Tries to make it a bit interesting which is difficult! good concise notes which I just learned off and got a good pass.!

    I had the same problem a year ago and I decided to try Cormac at DBS. I found him excellent and have since also taken P1 with him. Seems like most auditing lecturers are pretty good out there.

    Thanks for all the responses. Looks like they're all good. Plenty of good options anyway. I'll probably base my decision on convenience now and sus out the timetables.

    Umesh Rana is very good. The subject is tricky even if it looks easy sometimes...
