hopefully someone on here can help me out because my knowledge of all things technical is rather limited.
ive bought a mac mini from america and need to get a power adapter to use it here as we're on different voltage.
i went to maplins today and the shop assistant told me all i need is a travel adapter, and as limited as my knowledge is i thought that i would have needed more than this. im a bit reluctant to take her advice as she didnt really seem to know what she was talking about

it says in the user manual for the computer under power specifications Line Voltage: 100 to 240 V AC
should the travel adapter be ok or does anyone know if i need anything else?

    Thank You

Sounds ok. Just make sure you get a USA to Europe one rather than Europe to USA.

Yes the 100 - 240 power adapters will work here, they sense the voltage/current and switch automatically to handle one of the two.

Having just watched an unboxing video on youtube there should be a power brick with the Mini. It will state on it the input and output voltages. Look there for the 100-240 rating to give you the confirmation you are looking for.

The US mac mini specs currently suggest only 110V operation, so be careful. http://www.apple.com/macmini/specs.html
