got that for 100 too. but whren i got it i found the courier did a good job and broke the bolt that helps clamp the bike. still works as the bolt went in rather than out but not so happy with that.

Off topic I know but while you mention you have the Tacx too, did you get this little piece of plastic with it too (see attached photos)? It was in my box and I think vaguely remember seeing it somewhere in the instructions fitting over one of the QR axles but I'm not sure! Anyone know what exactly it is for? I am yet to find a use for it.

You can actually see it in use in the pictures on this site!

EDIT: I found here that it is part T3083.04 and is called "Chain-rol", bottom one on the list. So what exactly does it do? You recon you can attach the rear dropout and use this thing as a make do cassette to take up the chain slack? I dunno, just a wild guess here! What do ye think?

Hmmm, my one seems to be discontinued, basically it was the aluminium version of the one 72hundred linked to.

Nice and solid, although it has built up a fairly thick oxide layer that makes it hard to fold away now and there is some rust forming around the welds. I'd probably go with the painted steel version in retrospect.

I got this last year, I think it was a bit cheaper than the price showing. It's very good. Sometimes a bit awkward to get a heavy bike onto it though. Good and sturdy otherwise

Or for little cost and a bit of effort you could have one of these

I'm pretty sure that's for hooking the chain around when the rear wheel is off. Haven't used it yet myself.

+1 for the Tacx Spider Team, as used by lots of the pro teams.

Got this as a present, but I find it fairly awkward and cumbersome to get the bike mounted on it.

i find 100 quid for a metal bar a bit much although i did spend 120 on a carbon bar for my bike..
