Not all strip casinos have poker rooms (New York New York and Paris spring to mind), but those that do tend to spread several different versions of limit and no-limit games.

For me, the best rooms are the Venetian and Caesars, while the MGM is very good but I've never liked it, for no obvious reason.

In general you'll always get a $1-$2 N/L game, along with $2-$4 limit, and other games/limits are available, usually in the bigger rooms.

Oddly, I never found a PLO game anywhere, although I tried.

I'm going to be in Vegas from about the 7th Feb, but I've been a good few times before.

Just about all the bigger card rooms will have a couple of 1/2NL games going at all times of the day.
Venetian, MGM, Bellagio generally have the most tables at 1/2 and 2/5, but Ballys, Rio, Mirage are worth a look too. Venetian at the busy times will have 10+ tables of 1/2 going, great room, good seats, big TVs all over, savage waitress service.
For higher stakes, Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian.
I've heard that Caesars has lost alot of its cash games, but is still good for tournaments with the Venetian. Most poker rooms have a couple of smaller buy in tournaments daily up to $100.

I think the Venetian will have a 1/2/5 PLO game in the evenings, and all over the weekend. Unlikely that other rooms would have a regular PLO game.

Would agree with the Venitian having the best poker room, loads of games on 24/7.....
The Mirage will also have games going all day and night aswell...
Directly across the road from each other which is handy!!

Venetian has the most tables on the go at any one time. good rake as well. A couple of weeks ago caesars were doing a weekly cash league...play 15 (yes 15) hours in one week and qualify for the sunday morning freeroll of.......$10,000!!!! hope it is still there for you. Just to warn you, any game for less then a $100 will have a horrible structure

First time in Vegas was just over the New Year period, but unfortunately I fell ill and missed out on what I had intended to do for most of the time I was there (play poker til I dropped!!!)

But the few games I did play were in Caesars, Bellagio and Binions. All very good, very reasonable rake and all offering nice $1/$2 or $2/$4 ish games.

Tournaments in Bellagio are excellent too.
