Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Extension parapet walls

    Hello,

I am planning a single story extension at the back of a terraced house. The roof will be a apex roof with the two side walls within the boundary. I will be going as close as possible to the boundary walls but no part will pass the center of either boubdary wall.

My question is - Someone mentioned to me that I would have to build parapet walls on both sides to comply with fire regulations, Is this the case ?

    Thanks in advance.

You don't have to build parapet walls, it's just that most people find it's easier to build parapets to keep the gutter on the inside and not risk overhanging neighbours property.
