    Hi
I am in the process of installing new windows in my house and wonder if anyone has fitting a new type of sach window that has a carpet type seal on the outside and inside to prevent air getting in. My question is if so have you noticed the carpet seal getting dirty/ changin colour.

Are you referring to Sash windows?

The brush will get dirty over the course of time it justneeds to be cleaned with a sponge and some soapy water.

Most people don't bother with it and just after 20 or so years change the brush completely
