    Hello

There was a thread about this previously but it seems to be closed now.. Anywho...

I really want to get this done, Ideally would like to get it done in in or around Dublin City Centre.

Anyone have any recomendations or ideas of the price?

    Mod Note:
The previous thread was closed due to a spate of spamming. I'll close this one too if (when) it gets out of hand.

Recomendations are permitted but advertising is not.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I think it can cost anywhere from 160 to 300 euro depending on where you get it done.

I really want to have it done. Is it really as good as they say? The bit I am worried about is not clipping my hair back for a number of days. Can you still colour your hair with it?

its better to have it done on coloured hair
they actually advise getting it coloured on the day or near as possible to getting 12-wk blow dry. it opens pores and makes the treatment work better

I have'nt posted on here before as I'm aware of the strict advertising rules and don't want to break them. I'm doing this for almost a year now and have 100% happy clients (including 1 re-do). I'm seeing people advertise the treatment for €100 and it takes an hour and a half..... well this is just not possible for the original 12 week blowdry. I've had to go and fix someones hair after she got one of these treatments done as the hair was left dryer afterwards, probably from inferior products or too much heat during treatment. When done properly, the results are amazing and make dealing with your hair so much easier. If you'd like to chat with people who've had it done and get their recommendations, have a look at www.facebook.com/12weekblowdry

For brittle hair such as yours, the heat used to seal the product on to the hair must be reduced and the number of times the straightener is used on each section is also reduced. Once you have a trained stylist looking after you, the results will be positive. My sister has the same type of hair and she's like a new woman since she had it done. A 3 month break, maybe more, from your straighteners will do your hair the world of good.

I got it done for €150 by a hairdresser I know.
Very thick wavy/curly hair, med/long lenght.

It took a long time but it worked brilliantly!

And the best part is whatever he used was a brazilliab product (he's brazillian) that works without having to keep it in and do nothing with your hair for 3 days!

We washed my hair, put the product in, blowdried my hair (this took ages and was quite sore because of the heat on my head for so long from the hairdryers), straightened my hair (to close the cuticiles) , waited about half an hour (this may have just been to have lunch I'm not sure) then washed it out.

After washing the product out he dried my hair with the hairdryer using just his hands, no brushes/straighteners or anything, and it was dead straight!

And the next day my hair was a litle greasy from the product still being in there a bit but I was able to wash it as normal and style it as I liked.
No special shampoos had to be used or anything

    highly recommended!

The product he must have used contained formaldehyde -yes you can get a better straight result than with the usual 12 week blowdry but it is very dangerous to health.
