    Hi,
I've decided i'd like to do a course in accountancy, but don't know what my options are. I am working full time so it's going to have to be part time.

    I'm located in Maynooth.
My history is i'm 27, I have a diploma in electronics and I have no accountancy backround except for a little in secondary school.

I have two main queries, which i'm hoping someone on here can help me with. fingers crossed:)

    1. Am i correct in saying: there's two options for part time learning in accounting? (i) evening course and (ii) learning from home and doing exams in semesters.

    2. There are a few different accountancy courses and i don't know which ones i qualify for or which one would be best suited for me. (Am i classed as a "post Graduate"?)

    Professional Accountancy Programmes

(i)Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

(ii)Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)

    (iii)Accounting Technicians Ireland

    (iv)Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)

    (v)Diploma in Financial Management

    (vi)Diploma in International Financial Reporting

I'm hoping someone on here has done a part time course in Accountancy and can offer some advice.

    Any help is much appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Daryl
