Nintendo Service feedback

Felt the need to let other Wii owners know....

My Wii was giving problems reading disks - failed to read most. So I logged a ticket on the Nintendo website - they sent me a freepost sticker to put on the box to return it - sent it off - got in back in a couple of weeks - all OK - happy days! Cost me nothing - obviously a minor fault (dirty lens or whatever - it's a couple of years old).

Credit where credit is due - the process was great especially the online tracking they provided.

I'd read elsewhere that their service was very good.
The Fast Track process is extended to Ireland aswell.

I was close to having to use it myself last week:

Obviously your machine was still under warranty.
I think they charge a maximum of €66 for out of warranty faults.
No surprise that they want you to keep their console alive & well.
A happy gamer is a buying gamer.
