    Shahid Afridi has been banned for two twenty/twenty games as a result of ball tampering earlier today v Australia

    Was pretty stupid what he did, he has admitted the charge and will miss games against England

    Just watched the video posted above by Randomer. Two things occur to me:

    1) Shahid Afridi is not very bright

    How could he think he'd get away with that? With the amount of TV cameras at a match these days, you'd think twice about blowing your nose, let alone committing an illegal act in such plain sight. He has previous, remembering his spinning on a length in an effort to alter the pitch, which was also incredibly stupid. Staggering.

    2) The spectator tackle could have been much more serious

    The player went down on his shoulder and was lucky not to separate it or even break a collar bone. People have compared it to the Terry Alderman incident several years ago, but it's different because the player was caught unawares - Alderman tackled the guy that injured him. Scary stuff.

    grat player but complete headcase.
    his last act of stupidity got him banned from 1st 2 games of world cup- and we all know what happened there
