Hi, just bought new house and looking into buying a dryer don't have an external wall to put vent out as washing maching and boiler already installed Are venting units any good or am I better to save and get a good condenser dryer (from research this appears to be about €400 - €500 ) Any advise welcome

Yes dont buy hotpoint creda or indesit(all the same company). The cheap versions. They are shoite. Just google hotpoint dryer problems to see. I have a ctd00 and its the worst ever.

If you do decide to buy it because s/he likes the colour. Take the extended warrenty. You will love me in 2 years.;)

Also I would suggest you buy one that can take a heavy load as its the dryer that actually causes the bottle neck on the washing assembly line
