Mods please feel free to move to more appropiate forum if need be

More of a hair on my head than hair on my face question, but does any one know what happened to the 'scherna' brand, have had a pair of their hair clippers for years, have worked brilliantly, but starting to show their age now, not cutting as cleanly and battery life shortning with each charge, tired googling them, but apart from a couple of body grooming sets on amazon, and results for 'babylis clippers' thats it, no website or anything

    any pointers or suggestions

Argos sold Scherna up to a few years ago. I had a trimmer with ceramic blades by them. Not keen on the Babyliss brand, I've been looking around for a cheap Wahl model, but Babyliss seems to have taken over retail channels.. when they're sold, very few other brands are sold alongside.

I've seen them in Tesco's somewhere.
