    Hi,
Does anyone know what "premier" status means in relation to horses?
Is it some form of grading?
Is it specific to a certain breed? RID perhaps?
    Thanks in advance!

It's a scheme operated by the Irish horse board.

Can you give any further info on it, EGAR?

It was introduced as a breeding incentive and encompasses all ISH, I think. It basically means the mares have to pass inspections to be deemed Premier (quality) brood mares.
