Interview

I finally got an interview for a job I really want, and after a quick 15 minute telephone interview, for my previous experience and what I know about that company, and was successful in stage 1. Stage 2 is a face to facew interview.

Its an admin role in an IT Compnay in East Point and just wondering if anyone has had am interview with them? I beleive the interview will be about 90 minutes! I have had interviews before but never for as long as that.

Any advice as to why it's takes that long, or what will exactly happen would be great, I know its a long shot, but could be worth it!

    :D

I don't feel too bad now!!
I know it probably doesn't seem long, but it is for me, when all my past experiences in interviews have been 15-30 minutes in length!!
Maybe its their way of doing a first and second interview in one!!

Don't worry about it OP, 90 minutes is not that long really, especially when places like Facebook & Google have 7 or 8 interviews that are around an hour each.

You say you are going for a admin role, is it office admin or systems admin? If it's a systems admin role then the interview could be split into two parts, one HR style: why do you want this job, where do you see yourself in 5 years, yada yada & technical: what sort of systems have you used, describe a typical day in your last role etc.

Best of luck anyway and do let us know how you get on :D

Thanks for that, am not too worried, have done my homework on company and know my cv inside out.
Its an office admin role. Sorry, didn't make that clear!!
Will let you know how I get on, hopefully it will be good news :D

90 minutes is a long for an office-admin job.

I'd guess (and it's just a guess) that they give you either a practical test (type this letter, so this spreadsheet), or psych-testing of some sort.
