The relationship between me and my best friend has taken a turn for the worse. A few months ago it felt like we were drifting apart, being in college, and me having a boyfriend and him having a girlfriend meant we didnt see each other as much as we used to.

Just before Christmas I ran into some troubles with other friends and talked to him about it, I was feeling pretty depressed but it comforted me that i still had him. I deleted my profile from bebo thinking that it wasnt necessary because none of my friends on it talk to me anymore, and i have a facebook anyway. My best friend took this as quite an offence (told me to **** off).

On Christmas day i wished him a good one and got no response. I made a new bebo profile hoping that would somehow resolve things. He texted me a few days later saying that i've changed, we dont hang out anymore (despite me asking him to -before all this happened-, and him saying no as he was spending time with his gf) and he feels weird whenever he hung around with me and my bf (like when we were on a double date). I havent talked to him since then, but we're still friends on facebook and msn.

Should i delete him? We were good friends for a few years so this is a hard decision, but he really hurt me (and it's not the first time)

Your friend sounds like a child. The question shouldn't be "should I delete him?" but "should I continue our friendship?". Some people live out there lives on fb/bebo, I just can't understand it!

You could try talking to him as opposed to basing your friendship around what happens via bebo, facebook, msn and texting...

    Just an idea, like.

I think you should be civil whenever you bump into each other. It's pretty clear you are not friends anymore so stop trying to force it.
There's no point in deleting him from your contacts.. bebo and facebook are more like acquaintances lists than friends lists anyway. If you delete him it's just a provocative action. It's better if you do nothing.

Talk to him, deleting him on facebook is just going to rub his nose in it. Talk like adults!
