    Hi

    I recently advertised a room for rent were a polish guy came to view it and said I dont want to live here as I live with my partner around the corner and I cannot live there as she claims rent allowance so he will pay me 100 per month for a letter to state he lives at my property.

    It sounds dodgy to me but does this actually go on? or am I mad to even consider it.
    If I dont do it someone else will

    What he is proposing is against the law and is social welfare fraud

    We will not allow any advice here which urges you to break the law so I am closing this thread
