Heding to dub to a concert in the o2 soon, thinking about staying in the Maldron Parnell Square. Is it far from the 02 and how much would a taxi be roughly, dont think its in walking distance.

What sort of bars and clubs would you recomend group in our eqarly 20's, close enough to the hotel and do they have strict dress codes. Usually im a jeans, t-shirt and trainers guy.

    Any info would be great

    Thanks

Get the Luas from Abbey Street, cheaper and leaves you right outside the door (3.30 return from there, great service, I used it last night)

Porterhouse Central in Nassau Street is a decent spot, or the one in Temple Bar. Messrs Maguire just on the Southside of O'Connell Bridge too, another decent spot.

Are you from outside Dublin? A bit further afield you'd be down to Flannery's on Wexford Street, or Whelan's, or The Village.

    There's always Coppers too. :)

Firstly, good choice of hotel. Newly refurbished, friendly staff, and great location.
I wouldn't worry about dress codes, unless you're 17/18.. in which case bouncers might use dress code as an excuse not to let you in if they suspect you're underage or trouble.
