Pre-Ordering Games. .

Hey i was just wondering whats the best place to order games. Im looking to pre order Alien Vs Predator(hoping to get release date or day before )

I got MW2 the day before release from sendit actually. Anyway I use them or thehut.com.....whichever is cheaper :pac:

If you defo want it the day before or on release day then I'd go with gamesnash.com

Every time I've ordered from them the game has arrived on the day before.

+1 on Gamesneash alright cant go wrong with them if you want it release day but i cant see a rush on it to be honest. HMV had a poster up today advertsing it and a special edition. Too many good games coming out now i cant keep up with them all.

Going by this , yes they do.

Hmmmmm maybe i'll just book it in Blanchardstown, afterall it is realeased on the 19th which is a friday so i could just fly down after school. Yeah fcuk that shizzz im going down afterschool to get it, thanks for the help though

Never order form play if you want it day of release. You'll be waiting a min of 1 week, and probably closer to 2 after release for the game.

Play.com have a policy of having pre-ordered games delivered to your door on the date of release. As such you can sometimes be lucky and get it a day before.

(They do rip you a new one in terms of £ - € conversion though)

That only applies if you live in the UK though... They normally ship it 1-2 days before release and you'll have it a week after release if you're lucky.

I've prebooked AVP hunter edition through gamestop had 60 euro in vouchers since xmas so hope that should cover most of it.

Weird thing was they still didnt have a price for it ?? and its due for release on the 19th.

They didn't seem to know if they were getting in the limited edition battle field. I sent a mail off to cdwow who have it listed as 69.99 also sent a mail to gamesnash to see if they are getting it in and the price and more importantly will I have it on the day of release.

The Irish distributors are not carrying the Ltd edition as all copies have been allocated to exclusive deals with some of the bigger players in the market. We do have the standard edition available for pre order which will dispatch before release day as normal with our pre order titles. Normally these dispatch on the Wed evening / Thursday morning before a Friday release and it's in the hands of An Post after that.

FYI AVP has a RRP of €59.99 here in Ireland so your €60 should cover it.
