    does anyone know where you would get reeds to make st bridgets crosses tonight in the letterkenny area? or is there any groups doin it?

    Genuine answer - a field.

    Look for somewhere that's low lying and prone to bad drainage. Lots of them around.

    Our wee field is full of them... I used to make them to sell to the Americans in summer...
    And sent some there also

    The local Post Office then thought it was hilarious exporting them.
