    Alex,
why not bring these forward to earlier in Feb. Fitz already having their 2nd satellite tonight. Just a thought

Also, guaranteeing a ticket from the first one onwards would lead to good numbers after 1 or 2 even if there was a small overlay in first one or two (surely you'll get 12 players or very close when people hear of a guarantee).

Remember when one of these the week before the IO had over 120 runners a few years ago - think that was the one where Donal started his journey.

    Hi Jay,

I originally had Tuesday 9th February pencilled in for our 1st Satellite but I changed my mind because I didn't think there would a lot of money about after the Clonmel Coursing and Green Joker Poker Festivals.

With regards to the guarantee, we don't normally have one but I will look into arranging one when I get back into work tonight.

    Thanks

    Alex

I would def travel up from Limerick for this if it was on any time soon. There would be a few more that would be interested in traveling also.

Let me know if there are any more plans to bring these forward.

    Cheers

    Frank

Ok good, I seem to have got it wrong regarding delaying our first satellite so I'll put something together tonight and put the details up as soon as I finalise them.

Can I just ask would everybody prefer Tuesday 9th or Friday 12th February for the first Satellite ?

    Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, personally speaking Tuesdays suit me better. Wouldnt be able to make the Friday one at all.

Prefer a Friday Alex but with a bit of notice I can arrange things in work and be able to play the Tuesday. Either night for me.

Either day suits me. Would prob need the guarantee there tho as a 300 SNG wouldn't be my usual game :P Am sure I remember coming in last year and game not getting going, that's only reason I bring it up again. thx.

Thanks Tom. Yeah, took it down Jay. Some fairly big pots between the two of us last night. Felt fairly confident that I'd get it once you were gone but had to just focus and play lowball pots a lot. Can't wait for it now :)
