Applegreen are normally cheap, and do offer 5cent normally with a car wash, but 10cent with the o2 code.

Save 10 cent per litre on fuel when you buy a car wash at any Applegreen Service Station.

To avail of this great offer please use one of the redeem options on the left hand side of this page.

    Offer expires: 28th February 2010

Max purchase 40 litres, and have to buy car wash at the same time as fuel.

Good deal, some other good offers on that website. Do they change eveyday and can you only send one of the offers to your phone or can you send a few per day?

The number with the X is how many uses you get. The applegreen one shows x1 for me now after using it once, where the dante pizza offer can be used 5 times (x5) and they change every so often, not really daily.

Apple green are also doing a hotel break promo. Fill in a loyalty card (they are doing double stamps at the moment), pay 19.99 and get a voucher for 3 nights in a hotel for 2 people . The only snag is you have to have breakfast and dinner in the hotel.

They offer 5c off when you get a car wash anyhow, so in effect the 02 offer is adding 5c to that.

A fiver i think it was last time i was in there. You could ring your local one and ask if you wanted to save a journey: http://applegreen.ie/locations

If its a fiver, its costing you 1euro, if you buy 40 litres.

More pertinently- how much is Applegreen fuel- and how does it compare to other alternates. I normally fill up on the quays- I got diesel there at 110.9 during the week- without any need to buy a carwash etc. I always checkout the Tesco filling stations- but they don't seem to be competitive at the moment- Dundrum is 113.9, Maynooth 114.9

Is it worth your while driving out of your way to find an Applegreen?

Their diesel is 111.9 at the moment:http://applegreen.ie/fuels before reduction

and it might be worth mentioning that you have to collect 50 tokens before March 31st

Yeah and they give one stamp with ten euro petrol. Card comes with ten free stamps, so you have to spend €400 to fill the card up. Then its €19.99 + Breakfast & Dinner which could be another €30+ depending on place. Not that great of a deal. Theres better hotel packages out there

Although I did get about seven or eight stmaps for €20 petrol the other day :p

Edit: Is it 19.99 per night or for the three nights. If its the three nighs its not soo bad but I suspect its p/n

Its 19.99 for two people for the three nights, so its a pretty good deal. The big question is will they let you eat your meals in the bar as opposed to the restaurant?

Just to say I tried this fuel offer at Applegreens on the N7 at Rathcoole. I got the car washed and bought 45 euros worth of fuel. I showed the shop assistant the printout with the O2 treat and he firstly said they did not do that. Then he went and got the manager and the manager said he would offer the deal but it was not programmed into their computer. When it was finally sorted he charged me full price but gave me back 2 euro. I had bought just under 39 litres of fuel and only got back 2 euro. Somehow I only got less than 5c off the fuel per litre and it took 5-10 minutes just to sort out payment. A complete waste of time in my opinion!

Buy petrol in applegreen anyway so collected the stamps for the hotel deal. If you've 50 stamps you pay €19.99 for the voucher, if you've 100 stamps you don't pay.
But I don't think we'll use it. All the hotels have their own restrictions. For example the Arklow Bay hotel, which I was eyeing up, only allow the nights to be sun - thurs, sept - may and have a minimum spend per person per night of €60, so you'd have to be soing some amount of eating and 3 nights b&b and dinner would cost you minimum €360(for two) while on their website at the moment you could get 3 nights b&b + 1 dinner for two for €198 in march, so that would make dinner for two for 2 nights = €162 - would want to be some dinner - and that's the privilege you get for buying a ton of petrol. I didn't see one hotel whose minimum spend was less than €50 per person, except the nothern ones which were £35 per person.

Their fuel is generally cheaper than most places. Not sure what it is at the moment, but the one in Ballinteer is usually the same or cheaper as the Tesco in Dundrum, and it doesn't have the ridiculous queues
