So the guy's just won Celebrity Big Brother, i watched a few episodes and i thought he came across as a really decent guy, dumb as fcuk but decent.

I'm not here to talk about BB, more what's gonna happen to him next.

He's not a great fighter at all, the only recent records i can find of his show him on a 6 fight losing streak, but he has said that he's fighting again in May

Has anybody ever seen any of his fights? There's a few poor quality one's on youtube

I can see him signing with a mediocre Brit/Euro promotion and being treated like Kimbo was at Elite, a very ordinary fighter being fed cans to keep the money rolling in. Sure he's gonna be advertised on every card as CBB winner, maybe even the odd TV deal for the fights.

IMO not a good way for a lot of peeps new to MMA getting introduced to the sport.

Seen him on the Team TUF GB vs USA..he was in the qualifying round for the GB team. Lost his fight and spent most of it getting punched in the face taunting his opponent and trying to act like it didnt hurt. Came across like a right idiot to be honest.

Nice guy, 34 years of age and has not made it, i think his mma days are behind him and he wants an acting job or something..

I hated him in TUF mainly due to that name "The Reidinator" and the way he acted, but after Big Brother I'd be glad to see him get some fights on one of the main tv channels and give more attention for the sport. The fact that he's a nice guy will break down a few pre-conceptions of fighters being thugs.

Dean Amissinger was punching him in the face and he was still shouting "reidinator"

I'd say he's hoping for tv and movie roles to start coming in. At 34 and with his record the UFC or Strikeforce ain't gonna be coming a knocking anytime soon and I'm sure there's plenty in Europe better than him.

Sure there's loads better than him, BUT Kimbo was hardly the best and he carried Elite more or less on his own for a long time, when he lost Elite went tits up.

What i'm scared off is some org getting hold of Reid and feeding him cans, just to keep the crowds coming in, that would be bad for the sport IMO, even though it would expose MMA to a lot more people

He was one of the first guys that got me into watching MMA more a few years ago when all I could watch it on was The Wrestling Channel. He was charismatic and spoke well enough to stop me switching the channels despite those two annoying bald wannabe Mitchell brothers hosting that Cage Fighter show that showed Cage Rage fights. Fights were pretty exciting too, I remember really enjoying his fight against Daijiro Matsui. Good enough striker but pretty predictable.

Ahh Dave and Andy. I remember seeing them on this looking every inch the Phil and Grant.

Hasnt made a huge name for himself before now, and he does seem like a nice fella. Hopefully the new found fame doesnt see him taking bigger fights that are beyond him just for the exposure of his name.

He owns one of the weirder stoppages in MMA when he cut his shin against Ninja's kneecap.

Yeah. But there was a lotta blood pumping from his shin and the referee believed the shin was broken.

You do realise he was trying really hard to come across as a nice person because he knew he was on TV, right?

He was being watched 24/7 for a month there is no way he could act a nice guy for that long if he wasnt genuie, he may not be the nicest guy all the time and may say some stupid things but in my opinion overall he seems a genuie fella.

Seems like a pretty sound chap alright. He seems to be pretty dedicated to his fighting anyways. Best of luck to him whatever he decides to do

I don't really want him to be the next James Bond but I'd like to see him fight and I'd like to see the guy win. Does seem to be a nice guy but also not too bright.

Am i right in saying he's fighting tom watson next? If so wat u think the outcome will be?
Watson trains in tri-star canada, and also with greg jacksons camp.

The poor beggar is wrecked now. Jordon got her claws in quick before his fame fades and married him in Vegas the other day.

I enjoyed him on CBB. He went in there hated by everybody because of his missus, and because he was hated the press used him as an example in order to slag off MMA. I read in a magazine that his cauliflower ears were caused by getting bitten during fights!

Now he's the darling of the press and will only bring positive press with him, even regarding MMA. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sat front row at the next UK UFC event with Vinnie Jones beside him. DW isn't one to miss out on positive press.

I have no interest in the celebrity jazz it's all noise in the background to me. But I liked Reid in his Cage Rage days. In a sport full of guys taking themselves too seriously, he always seemed to have a sense of humour. My friend went ot London Shoot to train a few years back and said he was a sound bloke too.

He was a better fighter than people are giving him credit for.
