Setanta Sports on NTL

What's the story with Setanta on NTL? There used to be just one channel 401 Setanta Ireland which showed premier league matches 3.00 pm on Saturday. Now all of a sudden there is no game on that channel and there is a new channel 406 Setanta Sports 1 which is showing the game but is subscription only? Can anyone clarify the…

They probably couldn't tell you what the story is themselves. The station is still in a bit of a jocker after the summer fallout. I wouldn't touch their subscriptions with a bargepole for this exact reason.
