THE BIS COURSE IN UCC GIVES YOU A BSc OK, BUT IN OTHER PLACES LIKE INSTITUTES OF TECHNOLOGIES YOU GET A BBusiness.

A Bsc is a Bachelors of science degree because in the UCC course you're studying computer science subjects aswel as business subjects, Not sure about the Bbusiness in ITs but what you'd be getting is a bachelors in Business studies I think.

What pirateninja said. Not sure why theres a difference though, could be more of an emphasis on the computers in UCC than elsewhere, or just an individual choice on the part of the college in relation to the degree given. Not sure to be honest. You could always check out the subjects covered in each course, that may shed a bit of light on it.
