The Cork City Marathon is Monday June 7th 2010 and incorporates a relay section of up to 5 legs.

Last year we had a team of six (we doubled up on the last leg) consisting solely of Cancer survivors, called "C Team - Cancer Survivors" finish the relay in 4:01:24.

We're looking for men and women, who MUST be Cancer Survivors, to run. It doesn't matter how slow (you think) you are. This is about us, inspiring others, and showing that there is life after Cancer. theam members can fund-raise for their own chosen Cancer charity, or none, if they so wish.

Most of you reading this will not qualify for the team BUT you possibly do know someone who might be interested, so please pass it on. There are lots of Cancer Survivors who are involved in other sports who might be interested in doing this, so I'm hoping that each of you can help out by spreading the word.

You can read about the 2009 team HERE. Contact details are on that page, alternatively, we can be reached through the Irish Cancer society.

The rest of you, wherever you are running in 2010, might also consider running for the Irish Cancer Society, under its Run4Life campaign.
