You're correct by the looks of it.

    How Strange?

The front & rear numberplates have different font.

Maybe the front one was changed at some point......

    Front is old
Rear is old with new badges
Interior is old, maybe the newer steering wheel?
    Bizzare!

Maybe it was rear ended, and repaired with the facelifted parts? The bumper / tail lamps / badges are facelifted:confused:

The rear reg plate is suspiciously different to the front.

The drivers steering wheel is pre facelift, yet the radio / climate controls seem new??

My guess is it had a bang!

647 is an low number for Donegal possibly Jan/Feb 2009 and the facelifted Octavia wasn't available then afaik.

I think the vrs at least had its interior face lifted a few months before the exterior (or was it the other way round?!) Maybe the standard car was the same?

The interior is defo the facelift but the steering wheel / airbag cover appears to be from the pre-facelift.

AFAIK the facelift gains the new Superb wheel with the chrome-like detailing....
