Niall Coyle (33), from Four Roads in Co. Roscommon, has died in a Dutch hospital three days after he was attacked in the town of Dordrecht, about 15 km from Rotterdam where he was working. Since qualifying as an electrician Mr Coyle has worked in many parts of the world and recently moved the Netherlands.
According to reports this was an unprovoked attack which fits in with the description of Mr Coyle by those who know him; more than one referred to him as a gentle giant.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack.

Condolences to all his Family and friends may he RIP :(
