Erm............okay so I watched it. At first I thought it was a fake but now I know its real. It didnt give too much away but enough to make me longing for more. Roll on Thursday!!

Something tells me it won't play out the way it has so far. For example, if we saw the opening 2 mins of season 3 we'd only be watching a book club.. that scene isn't finished until you see the opening lost logo

My spoiler doesn't actually mention what happens in the video cause i'm kinda confused to be honest.

It IS genuine! ABC released it as part of a competition. This was announced ages ago.

I really really encourage people NOT to watch it. Trust me. This is the biggest spoiler EVER. You will ruin the entire premier for yourself.

Spoilers for practically the whole first half of the season are out there already. Even reading comments related to this video on other sites will expose you to far bigger spoilers.

For those who have watched it (SPOILERS):

Notice the reversal? Jack is nervous and Rose calms him by telling him "it's normal". It was originally the other way around.

Yeah I was thinking that too alright, it's like he was playing it cool, like he knew what was going on.

To say the whole season will be ruined if you look at the vid is a bit much. It's the first 2 mins of the first episode which airs in a few nights time. If anything I'm more excited then ever about the new season

The thing that i found interesting other than what Sad Professor said was that Jacks hair was like season 5 while Roses hair was like season 1. Fair enough, you might say that S1 Jack and S5 Jack's hair is pretty similar compared to Rose in S5 however i think it shows that this is the Jack from 1977. Only thing i can't make out is what is the scenario like a dream or parallel universe kind of thing.

Anyway as i said earlier that scene hadn't finished by the time the clip finished so i'm pretty sure another twist is in store.

I noticed that too:

Jacks hair in S1 in the plane was shaven while it was longish in this episode. I don't see why they couldn't of shaven his hair if it was supposed to be like the S1 Jack.

i watched...meh...kind of predictable, which makes me believe, its a red herring, why would abc air the first few mins to a couple of prize winners, they knew the stuff would be leaked, its a joke i'm sure....

Could be Jack dreaming which is what i'm hoping, the writers have been very clever in the past incorporating theories that have been posted online into the series

they're leading us down an alley and are going to throw a swerve ball no way would they release that willy nilly wiithout an ulterior motive

Watched it... and noway does it ruin the whole season you kerazy kid hah! Its only 2mins of new footage but very very intriguing!!

Jack definitly remembers, he's anxiously expecting... PLus he's not wearing the same Dhamra suit during the 1977 scene.

on a side not ive always found it funny that all the electric magnetsim is pulling everythign dow nthe well and as soon as Juliet falls down it just stops. Realistically there should be stuff still falling onto her head and body no?

I think most metallic objects in the immediate vicinity were already pulled down at that point. Sawyer did manage to hold on to Juliet for quite a while.

I gave in and watched the two minute preview. I don't agree with any of the scaremongering that it will ruin the first episode. Its given loads to reflex on that i think will increase the enjoyment due to the extra time to ponder its implications. Also its added to the hype and encouraged me to get watching back episodes in preparation.

Two interesting things i have read on another forum. The stewardess only game him one mini-bottle of booze this time as opposed to two in the first season. In the original Charlie bumps into Jack as hes walking towards the bathroom before the turbulence hits....no Charlie this time for some reason.
