GAA Season ticket transferable?

I have just bought two GAA season tickets but they are both in my name (ie my name is on both of them). I intend to use one myself and the other for a relative or friend. Is it possible for a different person to use the other ticket? Season ticket holders in the Premiership etc. do it all the time. Will they ask for proof…
