okay. will try this one out. Song for the month. No point getting bogged down in release dates but keep it as recent as possible. nothing before this year in otherwords. Some good tunes on the Songs you have discovered recently if you want to source any new stuff.
For me its silver soul by Beach house. Terrific tune.

it may not be classed as indie but i like owl city fireflies just because he calls his music " Electro pop on a diet, being force fed keyboard smoothies"

Voted for Beach House, people are mentioning Silver Soul and Zebra but what about Norway? Best song on the album imo.

Yes shin was thinking that meself. Beach house gets the vote here. Any contenders for february. Velvet by Big Pink quite good. Have another song in mind but damn it that Today FM crowd haven't updated their play lists so I cant source the song till I hear it again. Pretty sure its by a band with Orchestra in their name title.

Could be either Brad Pitt Light Orchestra or Grand Pocket Orchestra.

Nope Im damned if i know what the song is at this stage. It has a bit of a Barry White orchesteral chorus to it (my everything song). Alison Curtis played it during her last week on night shift but never updated her playlists. Think i will have to put this one down in the lose column which is a shame as it was a very good song.

I know its now almost March but I hadn't voted on this yet and noticed Beach House and Mumford were neck and neck - its Beach House, no contest for me. The deciding vote??

Yeah Xavi nominated it. One of those overkilled bands at the moment. Initially liked little Lion man but lead singers voice starting to annoy me.
