Has anyone experience of how this is done. I found a guide that showed how to delimited a 1995 mirage by removing a screw from behind the cluster . The cluster on mine is different from the images I found (97 model). Is it still as simple as that or is there more to it. Would anyone have a link where I could find this information?

Why would you need to go more than 112mph?

Why would anyone need to do more than 75mph? All cars should be limited to that.

You can swap the speedo cable to read miles is the cheapest way or
you can get an aftermarket ecu or an apexi rsm.
The first option is the cheapest.

Alll you need is put in a kph to mph converter, is yours a <96 or 96<? earlier one uses cable, later one uses wires from a speed sensor on the gearbox through the ecu.

Would you not be better keeping it in -so to speak!?If you were caught doing 120-130mph theyd probably have you on the RTE 9 O Clock news before the mass murderers and guys who imprison children in cellars for 15 years...God be with the days when you could drive with impunity at whatever speed you wanted on the motorways ...

    Not Your Ornery Onager

Get a mechanic to check the nut in front of the steering wheel. He'll need a very special spanner......

I did it on a 95(new shape) mirage by wiring in a kph to mph convertor , it worked perfectly and changed the clocks, the limiter is still active but is now 180mph!
