Second hand or new

    hi,

    Im planning on getting a wii and just a quick question. I was looking in gamestop and saw a second hand wii with all the equipment and super mario bros for 220 i think. I checked out littlewoods and the best deal i saw was 330. So can anyone recommend second hand ones im afraid of it faulting after awhile and will you be due a refund off the shop. I would rather pay 100 less if the second hand consoles do the same job. I will just go broke for a week and stay off the beer for a weekend or two:eek:.

    Also if i get wii fit is it actually good for keeping fit and losing weight i wouldnt mind trying to get in shape also.

    The wiis are the most reliable console of this gen. I would have 0 issue buying a seocnd hand wii.

    With a Second hand wii, do you inherit the previous user's Wii shop account and friend code or can they be changed / cleared (and/or xferred to a new wii)?
    Note, inheriting their WiiShop account may be a good thing if they've bought anything... Assuming they can't in the future take it off you *after* you buy something...

    Of course, with a new Wii you get the opportunity to go online for the first time and earn 500 Wii points, ideally by naming me as your online ambassador.
