    Ah yeah, things like SSE4.2 & QuickPath Interconnect on the i7s too
    And of course smaller die (45nm & 32nm) all round

    SSE4 is good for HD as most AVC codecs used will incorporate some of those instructions.

    IGP is new too for intel too....graphics on the same chip

    I found the data in those links very confusing-not really sure what there on about...

    So who would use these new chips-high end gamers and graphic designers?

    From fastest to slowest:

    I9
    I7
    I6
    I5
    I3

    You can game and video editon any of them, obviously the higher end chips will be slightly better.
