I'd imagine you need to build up contacts abroad asap & go from there. Start trawling forums & sites based in the country you're thinking of, post mixes & talk to people.

The number one question is are you willing to play chart music....if the answer is yes then you`ll get work in Europe but if your a one trick pony playing house or trance etc you won`t get paid work.....

Ya, i hear Cocoon are lookin for someone to play a bit of rhianna and maybe Berghain need someone to spin the new Jedward track. You could put a sign above your arse crack saying "Insert Coins" too, that'll help with the wages. :)

"Europe" doesn't exactly narrow down your selection, are you going to Norway or Greece? Do you intend on playing Dance or Commercial? If its commercial then there are any amount of clueless fukwits that just want the top 40 in a meat market so go for it but dont expect to get preference over locals doing the same unless you're trying in an irish bar in santa ponza or something similar. If its dance then do a bit of research into the club scene in whichever place you are going to and if your style suits that place then just make contact with people in clubs, if not then either change style or go somewhere else.

    change style

If you are a DJ who decides to "change style" you're not gonna make it very far

He was already well established 'on the scene'
