VRT, Tax and NCT?!

    Hey guys.....here's the situation.......Just brought in my Audi A4 today from the north......I have no tax, NCT and I'm on Northern plates!!
    Can I tax it on northy plates and NCT it or do I have to have it VRT'd?:o Whats the first move or procedure?!:o

    First get VRT, then you will be issued a reg number, then from this you can ge the car taxed and once you get the registration certificate you can then book the NCT.

    It is very difficult to accept that somebody who transferred their residence from Northern Ireland nine years ago is unfamiliar with VRT procedures.

    Yes it is - but Saturday and Sunday are excluded.
