NTL not sending bills

    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem - I haven't received a bill from NTL in a loooooonnnnnggggg time. They've been taking the direct debit but not sending me a bill. Just before Christmas they took over 200 quid. Now it's 80 something. I've no idea what I'm being charged for, or even what I'm paying until I get my bank statement.

Tried to log in and I'm still waiting for my reset password (through their "automated" system) for 20 minutes and counting.

Surely they are obliged to send you a bill??? I'm living with 3 other people and I can't produce a bank statement and expect payment. I'm considering cancelling my direct debit to ensure I get my bill before payment is taken.

Anyone know of any adverse effects of cancelling the DD? Anyone got this problem with not receiving bills?

    Thanks guys!

Your bill is on your "My UPC". You just need to sort out your logging onto your "My UPC", and all will be fine.

I haven't had a postal bill in about a year, which is when I signed up for DD.

They only send a bill if the amount they charge changes (e.g. with the recent €2 increase in the broadband standalone charge).

They stopped sending out bills without notice to direct debit customers a while back.

They did not inform customers of any alternative arrangement.

My understanding is that they have to send a bill if you request one.

There was recently a variation on my bill - I have got the bill/invoice since and a very questionable (and unadvertised) cost had been applied...
