    Hi all,

Just wondering what would be better in my ad selling a car? Would POA be better and create more interest than just stating the price?
Thanks for your replies in advance,

Nope, I just skim over POAs, unless it is a really really nice car.

When I look at ads I like to compare them by price, age, whatnot. If you remove the price I cannot compare and therefore am not interested.

Suggest you put a price but add "open to negations". This is bull as there is always negotiations but at least it sounds as you're willing to talk.
You can try to toss in another bull phrase "first to see will buy" :D

yea was thinking that... thought POA might have got some people calling and I could develop it from the phonecall on...

Post an asking price - I immediately dismiss cars advertised as POA. In this market I don't need the hassle of dealing with owners with unrealistic expectations, or who don't know what they should be asking.

is it also a negative to put down bottom price (basically say no offers)

I skim POAs too... it seems to be a ROI thing.. in the North and UK everyone puts the price.

POA = "I want more that I know it's worth"
