Anyone know of a printer monitor (page counter per user/machine) that can poll a dozen printers by IP rather than shares? Thanks.

    Are you familiar with SNMP?
If your printers support it, then you can use tools like snmpwalk.

You send the correct object identifier to the IP address and you should get the pagecount returned to you.

    from http://www.mrtgexamples.com/ciscorandom.shtml

That object identifier (1.3.6.1.2.1.43.10.2.1.4.1.1) should be standard for page count, it's defined in a standard printer MIB.

Install PCounter on your print server.
